The following summer of 2000
Modern Landscapes for Modern Homes
This home in Olympus Cove sits on a bit of a hill and
when it had a front yard of grass, it was pretty imposing.
By adding trees that will reach about 20' and large
flowering shrubs, the house becomes a natural part of its
surroundings. And it only needs irrigation once every 10
days.
Right after installation in the summer of 1999.
This beautiful home cried out for a landscape that softened its
edges without competing with its great architectural lines.
Some graceful deciduous trees, colorful evergreens and a
variety of flowering shrubs, perennials and grasses provide
interest all year long and create an inviting entrance to the
home. A drip irrigation system provides efficient watering
throughout the landscape.
