Creeping Oregon grape is one of those perfect plants - it provides color and interest all year long, doesn't need much water and it requires no maintenance.
What more could you ask for? It's a broadleaf evergreen groundcover that grows into a mound that can get up to 2' high. It's one of the first things to bloom in
the early spring, covered with bright yellow blossoms. The flowers turn to beautiful purple berries that feed the birds all summer long. And then it turns a
wonderful burgundy color all winter. It will grow equally well in sun or shade and makes a delightful understory plant for your trees and taller shrubs. And the
deer don't bother it at all!
